After 11 days with her abductors in Bauchi, an eight-month pregnant woman identified as, Kafayyat Adedoyin, has regained her freedom.
It was revealed that she was set free after N1.5 million was paid to the gunmen.
The expectant mother was abducted on September 17 at Birshin Fulani on the outskirts of Bauchi metropolis.
Her husband Surajudden Adedoyin confirmed her release on the phone yesterday, saying, though, that while the ransom was paid on Friday, his wife was freed yesterday morning.
Mr Adedoyin said his wife was traumatised following the humiliating condition she was exposed to in the kidnappers’ den.
