Tori4africa reported that there was a fire outbreak that engulfed three-row shops at the old PZ building Station Road, Osogbo.
Osun State Fire Service has confirmed that its men saved items worth over N100 million during the fire incident.
Meanwhile the swift response of the Fire Service, after receiving a distress call, saved other items.
Although, Fire Service spokesman Adekunle Ibrahim has confirmed that properties were destroyed in the fire.
He said the cause of the inferno is unknown, but he suspected that the ignition source could be from an electrical appliance which was plugged since Saturday.
We have not ascertained the worth of goods destroyed, but items saved worth N100million. – Ibrahim said.
