At Aponmo village near Akure an 18-seater bus has plunged into a river(Owena)
Rescue operation is currently on at Aponmo village near Akure in search of passengers of the passengers.
The rescue team was sent by Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) from its Ondo town Unit Command and Zebra unit in Akure.
Eyewitnesses said driver of the bus got deranged due to over speeding.
For now six passengers have been rescued while four have been taken out dead.
Witnesses believed that the rocks at the bottom of the river might be responsible for their deaths due to impact.
Spokesman for the Ondo FRSC, Abiola Fadumo, who confirmed the accident said rescue operation was ongoing.
