Who is an Ambassador

An ambassador is a high ranked official representing a country abroad on behalf of its government especially on diplomatic matters.

Nigeria has 47 ambassadors representing her in various countries of the planet,which would be known later on the Post.

Duties of Ambassadors

Ambassadors perform so many duties,
  • Taking charge of embassies
  • Commit to work in representing and advancing the foreign policy goals of the Nigerian president and his administration in other host countries.
  • Ensure security of embassies and properties.
  • Manage communications, hold bilateral talks with governing body of the host country, sign trade agreements, and protect Nigerians overseas.
