Tammy Abraham has admitted that Chelsea teammate Antonio Rudiger is someone he would hate to play against.
Abraham, 23, is Chelsea’s centre-forward with 12 goals across all competitions this season, but right now he’s having to be patient on the terms of Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
The English attacker has stated that Chelsea defender Rudiger is someone that would get under his skin if he played against him.
Germany international Rudiger, who has been relevant so far during Tuchel’s reign, is known as being an aggressive no-nonsense warrior on the pitch.
The 28-year-old centre-back is dominant in the air, while one-on-one he’ll fancy himself against anyone with his strength and pace.
It’s also worth noting he’s a person that loves individual duels.
In an interview with Soccer AM, Abraham gave his view when the reporter described Rudiger as a wind-up merchant.
“He’s a great teammate, but I’d hate to play against him. I’d lose my head every time.”
