The Moroccan has been gaining interest from Napoli in recent days, with Blues boss Tuchel admitting that ‘hard decisions’ have been made on the winger.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel admitted in the past that he has had to make “hard decisions” over Hakim Ziyech amid rumours linking him with Napoli. The Moroccan winger hasn’t had enough game time under the former Paris Saint-Germain head coach following the German’s arrival in January. He started just 11 matches under Tuchel in his time at Stamford Bridge so far and succeeded in scoring one Premier League goal during that period. After a frustrating first season in West London with such a big-money move from Ajax last summer, Ziyech has now been linked with a move away, with Serie A Giants Napoli and domestic rival AC Milan showing interest in the 28 year old. It is however unsure on Chelsea’s part if they are open to selling Ziyech after just a season. Tuchel however, has claimed fault for the Moroccan’s lack of game time at Chelsea and admitted to some strenuous selection headaches. Hakim scored six goals and provided four assists during his debut in West London. He still has four years left to run on his Chelsea contract.
