Most people have been wondering, why do I suffer headache most times, in this article we are going to be looking out on possible reasons why.
Headache is simply a continuous pain in the head, usually it can be on one side of the head or on the both sides. In some cases it be a particular part of the head, It can also be all over the head.
It comes in several forms;
As sharp pain
Throbbing; pounding sensation
It can last for hours or days depending on the Type of headache – we will be discussing on this in our next section.
Moving on, having understood the concept, there are so many reasons why we suffer headache below are few basic reasons why;
As funny as it sounds insufficient water -dehydration happens to be one of the causes of most headache. Normally, our brains is made of 80% water. When you become dehydrated- not enough water your brain tissue loses water causing your brain to shrink and pull away from the skull- scary right? This triggers the pain receptors surrounding the brain, giving you a headache. Medical expert says drinking at least 3.7 liters of water (Men) and 2.7 liters ( women) is recommended. Now that you know, stay hydrated, drink a lot of water daily.
CHANGES IN SLEEP OR LACK OF SLEEP
Lack of sleep is also another possible reason we suffer headache, so getting a lot of rest/sleep is necessary for the body.
Only a few people know this or have also noticed that staying in a wrong posture or same posture for a long time can cause slight headache, try bending your head face flat for about 3- 5 minutes, sooner or later you will feel a slight pain, it is important that you maintain a good posture for better health condition.
